Nevada’s Four (4) criteria for pardon applications:
1 - Post-Conviction conduct, character and reputation:
What have you been doing since you got out or off probation?
Did you get a job? Did you keep it? Were you promoted? Do you have a position involving responsibility and trust? Did you get married? have kids, buy a house? What are your ties to this community? Do you do charitable work etc. ? In addition to more.
2 - Relative Recency and Seriousness of the offense.
What were you convicted of? Was it violent? Was it domestic violence? What was your sentence? Did you have prior offenses? Did you violate probation or receive discipline in prison? or did you early terminate ? In addition to more.
3 - Need for Relief -
Why do you NEED a pardon? Do you just want to vote?, carry a gun to protect your family? Or make more money with a professional license? or just feel better? Do you frequently handle large amounts of cash at work?
4 - Atonement and Acceptance of Responsibility -
Are you sorry? Do you feel bad? Do you care? Are you embarrassed? You will need to be sincere, and I will help you express that.
